Template:Steamrunner Class Designed for combat and bearing the namesake of John Paul Jones' famous frigate, the USS Bonhomme Richard was originally commissioned as a vessel of the line for the ongoing Dominion War, however she never saw service in that capacity. Equipped as an assault frigate, the ship had little to do by the time her construction was finished in 2377, as the war had ended in 2375. As such, the ship was transferred to Solas Tempus under the Kappa Protocol.

Now reentering Solas Tempus service in lieu of new threats, the Bonhomme Richard is captained by Tal Ravis and carries a wide variety of auxiliary craft in order to effectively project force and conduct planetary assaults and landings.
