The Ronin shipyard is the primary repair, refit, and construction facility for Solas Tempus. The facility is comprised of a series of small drydocks, space station, and its associated yards (meaning where vessels or parts too large for the space station are held in orbit.
Facilities
- Ronin Station
- A Class K Space Station (Ronin Alpha) serves as the main operational offices and fabrication facilities for the shipyards. In addition there is a Class 2 Space Station (Ronin Beta) serving as commercial offices.
- Dry-docks
- A wide variety of dry-dock facilities are available to accommodate small escort and scout ships, all the way up to large capital vessels. There are 27 individual dry-dock facilities operating.
- Parking
- Vessel parking storage is also available for long term and short term use both prior to or after repairs and refits have been complete. There are 8 parking zones, 2 short-term and 6 long-term.
- Parking zones are set up near Glacia but outside of the primary shipping approach vectors and not in orbit, they are set in stationary locations relative to the planet's location (approximately 30 minutes shuttle ride from Glacia).
- Vessels in parking are powered down moored to an automated Platform Station to maintain relative location.
- Parking is managed from a Class 2 Space Station (Ronin Gamma).
The facilities are open to Federation allied and some non-allied worlds and organizations. Services are usually rendered in trade for supplies and parts needed by Solas Tempus such as Dilitthium, Antimatter, Tritanium, etc...
