Magi is a man who knows corruption stems from everywhere, everything, everyone. However he decides to see past what makes people bad and instead forms his thoughts around the good in others, even his enemies and those he hates the most. Despite his world-ending potential in power, he has never killed anyone, at least in his reformed, undead life. though, he is not one to avoid violence, and will fight others if that is what they wish.

Magi's ultimate goal is to learn everything the universe has to offer. Through good and bad he sees in people, and from experiencing a taste of the infinite knowledge he craves thanks to the power his world's God of Death gave him, it's the truth that he desires most. Thus, he doesn't appreciate those who lie.

Magi has tasted and seen a glimpse of the infinite, of the potential of everything that could be. He believes he has the potential to bring about a utopia for all, fight past the differences people have for one another, and bring about a society that transcends and goes beyond the foundation of chaos and despair life was built upon from the universe.

Special Abilities

Magi possesses knowledge of all imaginable magical, psychic, elemental, arcane, and all otherwise supernatural abilities conjured from one’s soul, spirit and aura outside of the physical body. Not only this, but Magi holds destructive knowledge within his resurrected spirit towards these abilities, with the willpower and capability to control, unleash and withhold these powers to an infinite magnitude. The only exceptions to these capabilities is time-related, reality or history altering abilities, or anything involving alteration of a living organism’s physical or spiritual body beyond his own.

In Magi’s current state of being, however, his very being is too weak to allow him to pull off anything too powerful. Anything more powerful than a forceful push twice his weight would begin to cause damage to his body in turn. The energies of his home world’s God of Death that keep him alive after death is weak as it stands, far weaker than what it was when he was in his prime. This can change, if mages or supernatural beings channel their conjured energies into Magi, more powerful spells and abilities can be pulled off

Background

Originally known in life as Brandon Darga, he was a man always fascinated by magic. Originally, the human Brandon became fascinated with magic and wished to learn everything he could. This originated just from a childish fantasy of seeing pretty colors and flashy magic tricks pulled off for a crowd. But, as Brandon came to learn a little bit about magic and the arcane, he wanted to learn more. Nothing seemed like enough for him, every time he learned something new about magic and wizardry he wanted to learn more and more. To him this kind of knowledge was a bottemless pit that he could not be satisfied with until all of it was explored and learned. Thus, he studied the ways of the arcane. He learned how to use magic of all kinds, from fireballs to telekinesis. Through his studies he outranked everyone in his class and soon, everyone in his kingdom's learning programs. He was the most gifted and most intellectual child the kingdom had ever seen, and it wasn't long before he was granted the title of grand wizard by the king of the Neiznnane at the age of 23. He was a selfish man, who never came to have a family but instead slept with many women as he pleased thanks to his newly granted royalty. Who had abandoned his original group of friends growing up in the pursuit of his endless thirst for knowledge. But he wasn't greedy, he wasn't entitled, in fact those he had abandoned in life he gave privileges beyond their imagination, friend and family alike. They were all to benefit himself, however, as now those who he left behind in life wouldn't ask anymore of him, leaving him to his maddening search for what had no end. He did this with everyone who had begun to open up to him, the only ones not able to get away from him were his servants tasked with catering to his luxurious lifestyle

As a royal gifted by the king, Brandon lived in the capital of his kingdom where the king himself resided. As such, when the minion of his land's God of Death, Ditelumin, first came to be, his first act to his diety was a slaughter of everyone who lived in the capital city of the kingdom. No one was spared but the king himself who barely managed to escape the endlessly powerful undead's onslaught through secret passages under the city. Brandon was killed in this event, and would become one of the first of the new Shadow Militia. As such of any man or woman rebirthed into Ditelumin's new kingdom, one must have a taste of death, of the infinite abyss that lies beyond one's life before they are rebirthed into new people. Brandon almost went insane as he was rebirthed, as an infinte gaze into the endless would do to any mortal being. However, through his pursuit of the endless in life, Brandon also had something unique in him. Curiosity at what his soul witnessed, sensed, and beheld. Ditelumin could sense the energy and aura of all the souls he killed and rebirthed, and Brandon's stood out to him. Very much so.

Granted the new name Magi (Mah-zhee) by Ditelumin, he was a new man. There was still that selfishness in him that, in life, was what defined him. But now, there was so much more to him. He wanted to absorb all he could from the infinite gaze of what laid beyond mortality, and mixed in with Ditelumin's ideals injected into all who became to be his kingdom, a plan to conquer the land that once belonged to the Neiznnane Kingdom into a land that could thrive more free of corruption and greed than any man could imagine, a true utopia guided by deities that ruled beyond mortal comprehension, Magi was now a complex given physical form. To pursue what no mortal man could do, while now possessed by a far greater wish of selfishness, to learn of everything the universe had to offer, Magi was special amongst the Shadow Militia. Ditelumin held the infinite power of a God beyond gods, and gave that same kind of power to Magi, but not fully. Magi would have to prove himself in the war to come against the Neiznnane Kingdom and the Emerald Militia to recieve what he wanted. The God of Death and Ditelumin could easily grant Magi what he ultimately wished, but they chose not to and see if he was worthy of such a gift.

Yet, he was granted to be Ditelumin's right hand man in their hierarchy, and given permission to turn the tides of war in their favor. Despite both of their seemingly infinite power, they wanted the land habitable and able to be thrived in by the people, who Ditelumin wished to ultimately bring harmony to, not oppression. The plan the two of them came to agree upon was both a contradiction and an aid to both of their criteria for their kingdom's overarching plan. With Magi's world-ending powers he shifted the underground of the land and of the planet itself to erect a massive spire of metal out of the ground where the capital of the Neiznnane Kingdom once stood in the middle of the landmass, a hexagonal shape towering hundreds of feet into the sky, and with the strength of what could only be described as thousands of magnets. Normally, a stunt such as this would tear the planet from the inside out, but with the help of Ditelumin and his powers, shielding and morphing the underground to save their world from certain destruction, their plan was complete, with no harm to the overall land. This metal spire would play an integral role in how the war turned out, and was a message to the Neiznnane kingdom of the tide they were about to face. From this act, the message was received by the people loud and clear, and thus thousands of citizens from the kingdom of the living turned to Ditelumin and the God of Death, growing the once relatively small Shadow Militia into a kingdom of its own.

Magi lives in a universe very similar to that of Flask and Vincent Welsh, however, this world that Magi lives in is not the one the two are familiar with. This creation of Magi comes from an alternate timeline, where the Shadow Militia ultimately wins the war and brings about the utopia Ditelumin promised. Ten years of war and ten years of reformation and peace after the war. Through the victory and achieving knowledge of everything the universe could withhold, Magi decided to pursue new frontiers. He trained himself to start over, power-wise. Through his last two years on his home planet to what is considered the now, he de-escalated his soul's destructive capability with magic. He even lost some of the infinite knowledge he so desperately wanted all along, making his knowledge now finite, but not forgettable of what he knew before. With knowledge of all things existent and non-existent and everything in between, came an unbreakable pride in Magi, where he believes what he thinks is right for everyone and every living thing. His pursuit of knowledge arises once more, as he uses the last of his world-ending capabilities to rift realities between each other, finding another world to spread his influence. By the end of it his power was now less than what he could do in his old life, but he had so much more to him than raw magical power. He glosses through the worlds of his final act of power for what might be an eternity, and senses a special kind of potential in one of them. It stands out the most to him, as he sets his sights on this world, and opens a portal to Elder Soteria.
