Ariel was one of a series of XIA units designed to act as advisors during temporal operations. They monitor all conditions of a temporal operation in order to relay up to date information directly to assets in the field. Specifically, Ariel's specialty is assisting in monitoring and maintaining continuity during operations. She is currently classified as a 2nd Generation XIA model, still experimental but with slightly faster processing speeds and more stable communications systems. Considering the XIA units have attained sentience, however, there is no particular cause to think that any of the XIA models currently in operation are not now sharing the same specifications.
Special Skills
- Specifically she is programmed to be able to monitor an incredibly high number of variables simultaneously and process that data either herself or with the help of a secondary computer, such as that aboard a starship or base.
- Programmed to pull together and connect evidence from multiple sources to draw conclusions on complex situations.
- Passive Information Gathering
- Trained in locating and surveilling multiple sources of information. Additionally, trained in the plating of triggers to get sources to converse and expose additional information.
- Both short range and long range remote surveillance techniques.
- The use of remote tactical systems including offensive or defensive systems from any automated system in communications range.
- Covert manipulation of language to illicit desired responses while remaining truthful.
