- Installation of the Trans-Dimensional Beacon
- Installation of the VAM Enhanced Sensor Pallet
- Installation of the Mark 1 Active Repair System

Upgrades generally increase the amount of work and maintenance required for peek efficiency but older designs are usually not discontinued because they are incapable of further upgrade but because new designs are available.
