This is a modified Oberth Class Starship. Built by the Federation with the SS prefix (Science Ship) for long term scientific missions.

History
- Commissioned in 2355.
- Sent on 8 year mission to the chart the outer reaches of the Beta Quadrant in 2356.
- Returned to Earth in 2363.
- Crew officially reassigned to other posting as of 2364,leaving no official commanding officer.
- Used as a short range transport until 2366.
- Moved to the Proxima Maintenance Yards in 2367 pending committee decision to either decommission the vessel or refit the ship to current Starfleet standards.
- Solas Tempus obtained the vessel in 2375 for detached research purposes and refit the ship to current standards planning to send the ship on a long term mission to study temporal mechanics around black holes and supergiant stars.
- Obtained under contract by Damien Smith for covert operations in 2379.
The ships systems were upgraded by the action arm (Blue Team) of Solas Tempus before being deployed to Damien Smith in accordance with the Refit Guidelines for this class ship. An additional upgrade was made to make it easier for the ship to be operated by a single occupant - the Bridge Module was redesigned and laid out like the Raven Class bridge.
