She is a registered scout ship that was originally registered with the United Federation of Planets mostly running VIP's between facilities. It is still registered as a scout ship with the United Federation of Planets. It is owned and operated by Solas Tempus via a shell corporation (Evanescence Industries) used for covert actions.
The vessel is a fairly standard variant on its class except it does have an active holographic camouflage that allows it to alter hull markings as well alter its appearance, warp and energy signatures, as well as simulate the flight profile of another class of ship. In addition the transporter system has an extended range and the ability to mask its own signature and appear to be a variety of transporter systems in how it beams both visually and as seen through sensors.
