The SS Lethe was originally built as a survey vessel for the United Federation of Planet. Her primary role was to survey potential sites for new Federation colonies, under the command of [[Keval th'Zarth]]. During this time there was a Borg attack and the ship gained some notoriety as being temporarily the command ship for a small fleet of civilian ships that engaged the Borg and fended them off until help arrived. | |||
When th'Zath was promoted, he took the command crew with him and the ship was docked pending refit. After a few months the vessel was contracted to [[Solas Tempus]], again, as a survey ship. Later Solas Tempus fully acquired the ship and refit her under the [[Refit Guidelines]] for her class. The SS Lethe was originally built as a survey vessel for the United Federation of Planet.
