The Excalibur was actually built at the [[Ronin Shipyards]] by [[Solas Tempus]] for [[Starfleet]] Command. Though the vessel did serve as a Starfleet vessel for a few years, it was soon commissioned back into the hands of Solas Tempus as the danger in the [[Schatten Star System]] began to rise and more Solas Tempus vessels were required to maintain security.
