Its exceptional scouting and stealth capabilities, enhanced by an experimental phasing cloak, make it an invaluable asset for the head of Solas Tempus. Under Admiral D'Amico's command, the ship has been instrumental in numerous discreet missions, from diplomatic shuttles to covert operations. Master Systems AI Katja Volkova, assigned to the Tempest Dawn since its initial shakedown cruise, remains an integral part of the ship's operation. She has stayed assigned to the ship ever since, Captain Tolin was particularly happy with her performance and originally had planned to request she be transferred to his next command prior to his decision to retire.  Admiral D'Amico has also been pleased with her service.
