The Crimson Horizon Sector, adjacent to the Ataraddon Sector in unclaimed space and bordering the territory of the Serenity Concord, is a vast expanse characterized by its crimson-hued nebulas and enigmatic stellar phenomena.

Star Systems

Aurelia Alpha
A binary star system with a habitable planet boasting a diverse ecosystem. Home to a thriving trade port and scientific research outpost.
Zephyr Frontier
A star system with gas giants and numerous moons. Known for its turbulent atmospheres, it serves as a vital refueling point for long-haul space travel.
Crimson Gate
The central hub of the sector, Crimson Gate hosts a space station that serves as a neutral meeting ground for diplomats, traders, and mercenaries. Its crimson glow is a result of the sector's unique nebular composition.

Space Stations

New Terra Station
A Class G Space Station that serves as the headquarters for Stellarian Ore Enterprises, it is located in the approximate center of the sector.

Stellar Phenomena

The Ember Veil
A nebular cloud with an ethereal, ember-like glow. Navigating through it requires advanced sensor technology, making it a natural barrier and a potential hiding spot for those seeking refuge.
Spectral Drift
An anomaly where stars seem to shift positions over time. Navigational charts need constant updates, and it's a favorite topic of study for astronomers and astrophysicists.
Eclipsing Nexus
A region where multiple planets align in a way that causes frequent eclipses. The phenomenon creates a unique interplay of light and shadows, making it a favorite for artists and stargazers.
Quantum Mirage
An optical illusion caused by gravitational lensing, creating mirage-like images of distant celestial bodies. Navigating through this region requires careful calibration of navigational instruments.
Point of Whispers
A cluster of pulsars that emit rhythmic radio waves. These pulsar "whispers" have been studied for potential communication applications and are considered a natural phenomenon within the sector's boundaries.
Velara Nebula
A stunning astronomical feature, is known for its unique composition that creates a natural cloaking effect, ideal for concealing the Astral Wardens' space station, Fortitude's Apex (a Class K Space Station. It contains metallic dust particles rich in isotopes like Beryllium-10 and Boron-10, along with heavy elements such as radium, thorium, and uranium, which effectively obstruct sensor penetration. This radioactive environment results in a breathtaking visual display of green, red, blue, and purple hues, produced by the excitation of nitrogen and oxygen gases.
