Space is divided into sectors containing multiple stellar phenomena such as stars, planets, comets, anomalies, nebulae, and other such things. The density of stellar phenomena within a sector of space depends heavily on its location within the galaxy. Some sectors, close to the galactic core, are densely packed while others farther out are far less densely packed. A sector of space between galactic arms will also tend to be sparse while the most sparse sectors are those called off-plane -- meaning they are not adjacent to the galactic plane.
Each sector is roughly a 11.5 ly cube with over 1,539 cubic lightyears inside.
Sectors which still require documenting are found here.
