From Solas Tempus DB
Xanthon
Type: G9V Yellow Main Sequence Star
Radius: 4.17 x 108 km
Mass: 2.15 x 1030 kg (110% of Sol)
Temperature: 5200 K
Luminosity: 4.98 x 1026 W (130% of Sol)
Ecosphere:Between 1.09 and 1.57 AU
Location: Xi Seraphim Sector

Located in the Xi Seraphim Sector, the Xanthon system is powered by a G9V Yellow Main Sequence star that is slightly more massive and luminous than Sol. The inner system is dominated by Anathema, a small, scorched Class A world orbiting at 0.593 AU, where the surface is choked by volcanic activity and a crushing 15-atmosphere sulfur dioxide environment. Beyond this hellscape lies a dense asteroid belt (0.859–1.419 AU) that acts as a boundary to the system's habitable zone. Here, the Class M world Kenoma orbits at 1.321 AU, serving as a sanctuary of life with an Earth-like oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere and a complex retinue of five moons—ranging from the massive Sabaoth to the tiny, icy Ariel. The system concludes with the solitary Class I ice giant Pleroma at 2.304 AU, a cold, moonless world of ammonia and methane marked by a tilted magnetic field.

Anathema

Class: A
Distance: 8.9 x 107 km (0.593 AU)
Period: 166 days 22 hours and 5 minutes
Radius: 3,093.8 km
Gravity: 0.381 g

The planet is a Class A terrestrial body situated at an orbital distance of 8.9 x 107 km (0.593 AU) from its primary star. It maintains an orbital period of 166 days, 22 hours, and 5 minutes. The physical characteristics of the world include a radius of 3,093.8 km and a surface gravity of 0.381 g. This small, barren, and volcanic planet possesses no natural satellites. Environmental conditions are characterized by an extreme atmospheric pressure averaging 1530.4 kPa (15.11 atmospheres) and a mean surface temperature of 129.7°C. The atmospheric composition is dominated by sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide. Geologically, the surface is composed primarily of igneous silica and basalt.

Asteroid Belt

Occupying the orbital plane between 0.659 AU and 1.019 AU, this asteroid belt serves as a stark boundary between the scorched inner system and the habitable zone. Due to the high luminosity of Xanthon, the constituents of the Veil are devoid of volatiles; they are exclusively refractory bodies dominated by S-type stony silicates and dense M-type nickel-iron cores, remnants of a differentiated planetary embryo that failed to coalesce. The region is exceptionally massive, containing a total material mass of approximately 6.0 x 1021 kg, roughly double that of the Solar System’s main belt. While individual large bodies remain separated by vast distances, this increased number density creates a highly active region of collisions. The constant grinding of rock against metal generates a thick, persistent disk of micrometer-sized dust grains, scattering the star's light to create a brilliant, distinct band of zodiacal light visible from the surface of Kenoma.

This substantial moon orbits at a distance of approximately 7.32701 x 106 km, completing a revolution every 3 days, 23 hours, and 1 minute. With a radius of 2,748.55 km, it is a significant body, exerting a surface gravity of 0.409 g. Despite its size this moon is a cold, desolate world; it lacks an atmosphere entirely, and its surface temperature averages -33.6°C.

Saklas

Class: D
Distance: 1.12552 x 107 km
Period: 7 days 12 hours and 54 minutes
Radius: 2,280.59 km
Gravity: 0.33 g

This moon circles its parent body at a distance of 1.12552 x 107 km with an orbital period of 7 days, 12 hours, and 54 minutes. It has a radius of 2,280.59 km and a surface gravity of 0.33 g, making it slightly smaller and lighter than Moon 805.
