Nash is generally considered to be likable, loyal, and courteous. On the surface he is all of these things though at his heart, he generally thinks of himself as superior to others. He's incredibly intelligent and has a fierce desire to be self sufficient, not liking to rely on anyone for anything if he can avoid it. Though a bit of an idealist he finds it a sign of weakness and tries to keep a more realistic world view. This conflict has been a driving force in his life since his creation, fighting the idealist battling the pessimist he thinks he should be. He can be incredibly sentimental and though he does not make friends particularly well those he does make he's incredibly loyal to and tries to stick with even to his own detriment.
Professionally he is an authoritarian that leads by expecting excellence from those under him. Having found that professionals rise to the level of expectations he is loath to accept mistakes more than once or perhaps twice and enjoys excuses even less. With a healthy respect for a subordinate who can admit they were wrong or that a mistake was made, he tends to seek out those who have more humility than he himself possesses.
A thrill-seeker with a wildly rebellious side he can often shock those around him by showing a willingness to buck against any rule that gets in his way, if the cause is great enough. He is drawn to and enjoys putting himself to the test in dangerous or difficult situations, be them threats of to his physical self or emotional self. He has yet to shy away from a challenge no matter how many times he gets knocked down. He is determined and has an iron will for a cause he chooses to take up.

Nash prefers to be in his android form, the idea of being confined to the ship in the event of an emergency does not sit well with him.
History
Nash was developed for the new Master Systems AI program in 2384 not long after the ALFRE Act lifted the ban on AI development. Developed as a new MSAI the program achieved sentience on October 9th, 2384. Choosing to sign on with Solas Tempus Nash was entered into the accelerated training program for AI's and graduated from the program in May of 2385 as a commissioned officer where he was further trained to be an MSAI until August of 2386 where he was granted the rank of Commander and assigned as the MSAI of the STV Queens Passion.
