Each division and branch of Solas Tempus has its own uniform design and color. All Blue Team (Action Arm) uniforms are blue in color in different styles. Temporal Operatives all have a Solas Tempus Pocket Watch as part of their uniform (pocket not shown above), even if they are not part of Temporal Command. The rank insignia fits in the place across the right breast of the uniform and the insignia occupies the left breast. The right arm also has the team insignia (Blue, Green, and Gold teams) while the left arm has a squad, ship, or assignment patch which changes throughout one's career. The default uniform for Blue team is the STS uniform simlar to uniforms for Green and Gold teams.
For information specific insignia please see insignia page.
Assignment Patches
Assignment patches vary, commanding officers can commission a patch for stations, ships, facilities, or even particular assignments as necessary. Assignments must have a prospective lifetime of more than 30 days before the commanding officer can have a specialized patch made, otherwise the last assigned patch must be used. Most starships, stations, and facilities have their own patch insignia while very few specialized assignments have one unless they are a long term assignment.
Exceptions
Any person in uniform will default to the highest uniform unless otherwise directed by their commanding officer.
Civilian contractors or NCO's will use the STS, Green, or Gold uniforms depending on their division no matter what.
Vident Obscura who are commissioned officers or contractors will also follow these rules when in uniform. In this case the commanding officer will set uniform requirements and often Vident Obscura agents will not wear a uniform even if they are commissioned. This is at the discretion of their commanding officer in Obscura. This is also true for insignia, an officer of Vident Obscura will generally have a commissioned rank in another division and then be assigned to the group, and thus will wear a Solas Tempus insignia. It is permissible to have the Obscura insignia patch displayed, at the discretion of the organization. Most often they have an ID or badge which is usually kept out of sight until needed.
