Originally named the SS Nixon with the same registry number, it was used as a small supply transport until it was heavily damaged in an ion storm near Vega Colony. The ship was offered as scrap/salvage to Orion Dentron who then contracted to Ronin Shipyards to refit the vessel for several quantities of ore and raw materials.

Ronin Shipyards still has an open account as Mr. Dentron owes them 500 kg of Polonium Ore and another 1000 kg of Titanium Ore. Though due to his mental status with the United Federation of Planets, Solas Tempus has flagged the account as inactive and decided not to press legal charges to balance the account.

The ship is a registered salvage and tow vessel with the UFP.
