History

Mike was born in one of the more civilized of the UNSC Outer Colonies, Epsilon Eridanis IV. At the age of nine, he was “conscripted” into the ONI/Navy SPECWEP joint project, the Spartan II program. Under the close watch of Dr. Halsey, 70 or so children were kidnapped to be brought to Reach, to be made into super soldiers, needed to deal with the Insurrectionists slowly ripping the UNSC apart. He was placed in Green Team, one of the less solid teams in the Spartan II program, and underwent extensive physical and mental training until he and the other Spartan II’s reached the age of 12. They were then sedated, and put under the many augments mentioned before. 70% of the candidates died or were incapacitated during this time. The survivors were then trained further, before being sent to don the MJOLNIR MARK IV. By this time, the Covenant had attacked, and the priorities of the Spartan II project shifted to making better gear for the Spartans to combat the aliens with. Mike fought on several planets, Jericho IV, Madrigal, and even his homeworld, Epsilon Eridanis IV. He spliced into Schatten System during the Fall of Reach after receiving the MJOLNIR V.
