Esori, or Ri to her close friends, is a competitive woman with a nearly impenetrable ability to stay calm and non-judgemental. Highly intelligent Ri is more quick-thinking than most giving her the ability to be assess a situation quickly and see into the depth of a situation. She's approachable and deeply values honest -- especially her own. While she's a team player she's also very competitive, especially with her peers. She has a wild and rebellious streak that runs deep in her personality, when given the opportunity it will surface. Ri values passion and spontaneity, enjoying seeing how others react to her going off the wall. There is a special joy Ri takes in surprising people, it surfaces when she's in charge and when she gets restless.
Personally, Esori has a large social circle but very few truly close friends. Her competitive nature gets in the way sometimes. She doesn't get angry but sometimes she gets a bit hurt when beaten, even at something minor. The pain doesn't last long but some find it off-putting. She enjoys seduction in all its forms -- whether she's doing the seducing or being seduced. The fantasy is always more real to her than the truth to her in the early days of a new relationship. That's how she likes it, a little fantasy, a little adventure, and then things become more real.
Professionally, Esori is a natural leader. Her approachable and calm demeanor even under tense situations makes it easy to connect with those under her. With her ability to quickly assess a situation and make decisions quickly along with her level-headedness makes her excel in a crisis. While others waste time worrying she gets down to business. Her seriousness when challenged can be off-putting sometimes, she doesn't get along all that well with those that use humor to lead, she prefers something more concrete. Protocol and manners make her comfortable and put her at east in tense social situations, especially professional ones.

History
Having lived in Federation space almost all her life, the United Federation of Planets was this great body to be revered. A cooperative group of hundreds of planets all working in peace? To a young Ri, it was the most monumental organization ever. She joined Starfleet as soon as she could, literally was already signed up before she was old enough. She worked her way up through the ranks until one day she's working with an Admiral after peace was finally achieved with the Cardassian Empire, giving several worlds to the Empire in exchange for several for the Federation. It was a good peace, until she missed her transport and had to spend two weeks on unofficial leave until the next transport came.
She saw the reality of what was happening. People had lost their homes and their livelihoods. Sure, the Federation was going to get anyone out of there who wanted to go but -- most of them had nowhere to go. It was a long while before she even knew what to do with his knowledge. Eventually she resigned from Starfleet and instead joined an organization she thought was at least honest if it wasn't to be perfect. She joined Solas Tempus, mainly because she wanted to feel a higher purpose again. She wanted to feel like she was part of something bigger than herself that mattered more than the failings that made the Federation broken.
It was a few years in Solas Tempus before she realized that she was more upset at herself for believing than she was at the Federation for being flawed. She came to terms with what they had done wrong and continued to do wrong. With her eyes opened and now not working for them she could see what they had done over time. The institution more important than the individual. She could be happy maybe going back to the Starfleet but Solas Tempus gave her opportunities that she couldn't get anywhere else.
