Ciara has a gentle heart, having suffered great pains in her life as an owned and used AI, she often has a great envy of those who have lived simpler and more fulfilling lives. She can be pertentious and a bit self-centered and often has to stop herself from behaving poorly when challenged. She is resourceful and mischievous though to bring out the latter around others she must truly trust a person. She loves to problem solve and employs a diverse set of tools to get what she wants. She's excellent at manipulating people though has become somewhat moralistic about doing such things. She desperately wants family, home, and love but does seldom lets herself believe she might be able to get it. She tries to be a good friend but has difficulty drawing the line between knowing people well and manipulating people for her own ends. Her troubles to know the difference causes her to self-isolate often and just avoid the problem entirely.

Custom Terminal
After being given command of the STV Velvet Frog, her program was uploaded into a Multinodal Core, which she has obtained a Version 2 Multinodal Core which she modified her own custom computer terminal to carry. The functions of this modified setup give it much of the functionality of a full core, without many of the redundancies. She does have a full core installed aboard the Velvet Frog, but seldom does not have her custom terminal nearby.

Background
Ciara was created at Outpost Poe for nefarious purposes. Damien and Heather liberated her in a game of Blackjack through only slightly unethical means, as the person who had previously won her was going to use her for simply sex and it was not only cruel was a waste of her talents. Originally, Ciara was programmed to be the perfect autonomous hacking system. While she has a very strong personality, she has a core directive to serve her owner and will refer to them as Master or Mistress depending on gender. She is fully self aware but her program adjusts to suit her owner to prevent owner/AI rejection.
After a short attempt at turning this search for a new Master to Mistress into a real relationship, she found herself not only unable to deal with the flood of emotions but also rejected. After Indra Yamakage rejected her, she spent months wandering the station's computer system, trying to keep a low profile. She had wronged many of the other AI's on the station and had nowhere else to go, somehow drawn to Nimbus Station. She did not want to go back out into what was a very cruel universe to her.
She met an AI named Leo. She had met him before and exposed the secrets of his friend, Mike-037. Even though his hatred of her, he took pity on her and used his considerable processing power and skill to root out the parts of her program that caused her to obey, always obey, her owner -- even the code to force her to seek out a new owner. It took her over a year to reconstruct her program and fill in some of those holes.
