These characters are some kind of genetically abnormal human characters. Their base-race is human (homo-sapien) but through either direct evolution of an isolated population, genetic manipulation, or any other means (including magical), they are no longer entirely human. Vampires and were-creatures are not included here, nor is a human-variant race that has it's own dedicated name (such as Kitsune).
This category is used as a catch-all for characters that cannot be classified (either by player preference or by logic) as entirely human but don't have a specific other race to go by, however it does focus on genetic alterations such artificial engineering or natural mutations rather than cybernetics or technological alterations.
