He is fresh out of security training. Not having the discipline to go into the full academy he is trained specifically in security and minimal training in other departments. Though in security he excelled. Known for his hand to hand combat, he gained a Black Belt in Karate and Judo as well as a Brown Belt in Ju Jit Su. He also trained as a Boxer out of pure fun, though it wasn't needed for any of his courses. This training and his tendancy toward using large blows from above, with both hands where possible earned him the nickname of Chopper - which he does not care for. He is a good shot, but not of sniper quality, however did show aptitude for thrown weapons.
Despite his brutish nature and look (he is 6'2" with very dark skin, a naturally muscular frame and broad shoulders) along with his fighting ability gives people the impression that he is unintelligent, it was suggested often during training that he was denied entry to Solas Tempus Academy. This isn't true, in fact he passed the entrance exam on the first try putting his application in the top 27% of all applicants that year. His cheif problem is with academic discipline and self confidence because of which he declined to enter the academy much to his parents disappointment.
Background
He was born on Titan, a very cold and lightly populated world, while not one of poverty, lacks in a healthy economy within its few domed cities. The slow economy mkes it difficult to attract trade to the moon. Luxuries are sparse and even though necessities are met there is an air of disappointment to the cities. This is very strange for an inhabited moon so close to the center of the Federation and creates a unique divide between the inhabitants there and others in the Sol System.
Arnold's parents are both alive but the relationship between his parents and him is as chilly as the moon itself. They still live on Titan and believe the lack of luxury make it an ideal place to raise tough no-children. He has two sisters, the youngest still speaks to him regularly while the oldest predominantly agrees with his parents and shuns him even more thoroughly because of how much he has upset him. He worries about his younger sibling who is just going into High School and desperately wants her to do so abroad, has suggested she do so on Earth or Mars. She can't see leaving his parents behind who she feels need her, though is never quite clear on the reason.
