By general order of Admiral Thomas in 2364 and further renewed by Feel Admiral Poole in 2369, no Solas Tempus vessel shall be armed with temporal based weaponry without special dispensation from the admiralty. The last vessel to be equipped with such weapons was the USS Reed which was decommissioned.
Phaser Modifications
By saturating a nadion particle beam with modulated temporal energy. This causes the beam to stay in a state of temporal flux with can cause incredibly destructive effects on a target. Mixing of temporal energy with nadion radiation has the effect of splitting apart atomic structures and causing the local spacetime to become fractured and distorted. Continued application of a temporal energy enhanced phaser beam can cause severe synchronic distortions. Strong distortions can further develop into temporal rifts.
Torpedo Modifications
Torpedo were also developed which deploy a time/antitime warhead. The resulting explosion from mixture of the two opposing energies causes immediate and lasting damage to the spacetime continuum within the detonation area.
