The Ismene is a Venture Class Runabout operated in secret by Section 31. Officially is a decommissioned scout vessel that was sold into the private sector. It continues its operations as a tactical scout ship, however, under the command of Commander Cardon.
Modifications
The vessel has been modified and equipped with concealment technology, including a prototype Federation phasing cloaking device as well as the ability to generate holographic hull markings. In addition to these modifications its engines have been modified so that they produce a different ion trail each time they are activated, this effect makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to track the ship between warp jumps.
