The memorial was set up in 2371 and has multiple parts.

Museum

Within the memorial is a museum dedicated to the history of time travel, making note of several non-classified occurrence of such. There is a section for each of a handful of major events in the field with particular focus on accidental travel through time and the results. Several artifacts from time ships are there, even if ones were not particularly successful but perhaps very well known.

There is also a section on the myths about time travel that persist in popular knowledge.

Library

The memorial library contains both computerized works as well as physical books about time travel and thoughts about it through history. This goes from popular culture on various worlds, not restricted to the Federation, as well as scientific papers and real world experimental results in the field. There are sections on culture, philosophy, as well as science all revolving around time travel.

General Memorial

Within the general memorial are the names, ranks, and epitaphs written by each persons commanding officer for Solas Tempus personnel who have been lost in the line of duty. This section is not dedicated to the only Temporal Operatives but anyone lost in the line of duty.

Time Memorial

The time memorial maintains itself within a constantly active temporal shield with two layers of additional temporal shielding. Within the memorial is a simple pocket watch with the name, rank, and epitaph below it. The watches are all the actual Temporal Operative Pocket Watch of the Temporal Operative who lost his or her life in the line of duty. This also includes Operatives who were unable to be retrieved and had to be left in-place within the past.

Since changes in the timeline can alter the present, this memorial is shielded heavily so that no one is ever lost from memory within the memorial. A final honor to those who gave everything for the cause - to never forget them. Within the facility is also a data core with the complete service records and as much additional history as possible on every person in the memorial but this information is not publicly available.
