Quote: "It was not enough for knights simply to love and fight well; they needed to sacrifice everything for the highest ideals, such as a Grail quest." - Brad Miner
Status: Active

The Diamond Knight was completed on October 9th, 2386, and entered official service just four days later, under the command of Commander Gil Edo. Initially assigned as a support vessel for temporal operations, its primary role involved providing essential supplies and communications for Temporal Operatives in the field. Six months into its service, the ship was transferred to Videns Obscura for investigating unexplained phenomena. Although it was officially transferred back to temporal operations, it has since been serving a dual role. Unofficially, it continues to handle classified cases for Videns Obscura, often involving complex time-travel scenarios. Enhanced by a set of specialized systems, the ship is not only capable of navigating extreme environments but also maintains secure multi-dimensional communications and offers protection against temporal anomalies. This makes it a highly effective and versatile scout ship. The ship is home to the only 2 known Water Elementals in Solas Tempus service, Typha Keane and Tsuna Charybdis who are an investigative team under the command of Commander Edo.

Special Capabilities

The STV Diamond Knight is designed as a highly effective scout ship, its performance significantly bolstered by a trio of specialized systems. One system offers unparalleled defensive capabilities, allowing the vessel to navigate hazardous and extreme environments, a key advantage for reconnaissance missions. Another system ensures the ability to maintain secure and stable communications across various dimensions and timelines, essential for real-time intelligence and coordination. The third system provides a safeguard against temporal anomalies and time-based attacks.

Omni-Phasic Deflector Matrix
The STV Diamond Knight is equipped with the cutting-edge Omni-Phasic Deflector Matrix, a defensive technology designed for unparalleled protection and adaptability.
Multi-Dimensional Communication Array
The ship also features a Multi-Dimensional Communication Array, enabling it to establish secure and stable communication links across different dimensions and timelines.
Chrono-Stabilization Field Generator
A device that can generate a field to stabilize the local flow of time, protecting the ship and its vicinity from the effects of temporal anomalies or time-based attacks.

History

The STV Diamond Knight was completed on October 9th, 2386, and entered official service on October 13th of the same year. During its initial months, the ship was primarily tasked with supporting temporal operations. It played a crucial role in supplying and facilitating communications for Temporal Operatives engaged in various missions.

In April 2387, six months after its commissioning, the ship was officially transferred to Videns Obscura to investigate unexplained phenomena. It was reconfigured for scientific research and equipped with specialized sensors and laboratories. The ship's investigations during this period significantly advanced the understanding of various anomalies, including temporal rifts and mysterious energy signatures.

Although officially transferred back to temporal operations in November 2387, the STV Diamond Knight began to serve a dual role. Unofficially, it continued to handle classified cases for Videns Obscura, often involving complex time-travel scenarios. This dual role allowed the ship to contribute to both temporal stability and the scientific understanding of unexplained phenomena. The ship received several commendations for its crew's exemplary performance in managing these dual responsibilities.

As of May 2388, the STV Diamond Knight has been actively engaged in both temporal operations and classified Videns Obscura cases. It is part of a specialized task force responsible for monitoring temporal stability across various sectors while also investigating unexplained phenomena. The ship has also been involved in diplomatic missions, serving as a neutral platform for negotiations. As of October 30th, 2388, the ship is undergoing routine maintenance and upgrades but continues to serve its dual role.
