The ship was designed to be a carrier vessel. Its saucer section has been largely gutted allowing for the main shuttle bay to service a large fleet of smaller runabout style vessels. It was declared destroyed after an accidental power surge in an experimental subspace accelerator field generator test run in 2377. The field expanded out of control away from the generators and engulfed the Warsaw, when the field dissipated, the ship was gone.

Its operational personnel are dedicated to the ship and its operations, assigned to the vessel itself while the command officers and crews dedicated to its onboard ships. The flight personnel are designated to keep the flight deck and its ships operational at all times.

The ship can hold and maintain up to 15 Flyer Class, 20 Danube Class runabouts, 20 Venture Class runabouts, 35 Peregrine Class fighters, and 55 Type 9 Shuttle Craft.

  • Components commissioned from Utopia Planitia, 40 Eridani A Starfleet Construction Yards, and the Antares Ship Yards in 2372
  • Components assembled in the Homam System by Section 31 in 2374
  • Assigned to Defensive Testing near in Homam System under Section 31 command in 2376
  • Lost in early testing of the subspace Accelerator field generator during an unexpected power surge in 2377
