The Insane Prince completed construction on May 4th, 2385 and awaits assignment at the Umbral Shipyards and in 2386 the vessel was assigned an MSAI, the AI Oscar Masing specifically requested an unassigned and small vessel.

In 2387 this vessel is assigned to Vladimir Zima for use in Operation Flintlock for reconnaissance duty in scouting planetary locations for reinforcements and resupply on the path to Romulus.
