Project Tharsis is project in conjunction with Solas Tempus and Robert Scranton authorized by Admiral Lance Thomas. The project is a bid to utilize reality-manipulation technology from Scranton's universe in conjunction with Solas Tempus technology. Due to agreements, Scranton was unwilling to give Solas Tempus information directly but was willing to help set up the project so Solas Tempus could develop this technology themselves.

Location
Tharsis Station
Started
October of 2387

The station & project have an assigned duty vessel, the STV Gleaming Queen commanded by Omega Phoenix. Phoenix is also the stations MSAI.

Required Material - Beryllium Bronze

Time
2 Weeks

The first mission was to located a rare alloy known as Beryllium Bronze which was not know to exist in this universe. The STV Gleaming Queen located 17 kilograms, the locating, gathering, and smelting of the substance took place over a two week time span.

Cuil Bloom Scanner

Time
1 Month, 2 Weeks

The project next worked on developing a scanner which could not only find more Beryllium Bronze easier, but provide a basis to study the Cuil energy. The team successfully developed the Cuil Bloom Scanner and the basis for integrating the scanner into Solas Tempus technology.

The team faced numerous setbacks, including an accident where one scientist was involved in a peculiar accident. According to reports the scientist had his top half and bottom half offset, but without any actual damage to the body. Medical scans confirm that the man was not harmed except for the peculiar shift of his bottom half from the top. Scranton advised that the scientist meditate "on his soul" for 5 hours, though it sounds preposterous this succeeded in restoring the scientist to normal. A second incident involved everyone on the team temporarily loosing all their memories though they retained all learned skills. This memory loss abated before the final push to build the device was completed.
