The Continuum is a Venture Class registered transport vessel that was originally registered with the Saffron Consortium mostly running key employees or other low level VIPs between troubled worksites or openings. It is still registered as a transport ship with the United Federation of Planets and with the Saffron Consortium. It is owned and operated by Solas Tempus via a shell corporation (Evanescence Industries) used for covert actions.
The vessel is a fairly standard variant on its class except it does have an active holographic camouflage that allows it to alter hull markings as well alter its appearance, warp and energy signatures, as well as simulate the flight profile of another class of ship. In addition the transporter system has an extended range and the ability to mask its own signature and appear to be a variety of transporter systems in how it beams both visually and as seen through sensors.
An enhanced warp drive and a reconfiguration of the warp coils allows the ship to reach a top speed of Warp 9.2 with a cruising speed of Warp 7.
The vessel is commanded by Solas Tempus Captain Arnold Faust and assigned to investigate temporal anomalies.
