The flag of Solas Tempus has multiple meanings. The most obvious is the 3 colors; Blue, Green, and Gold with represent the 3 primary branches of the organization being Action, Engineering, and Science. On a deeper level the color blue represents serenity and wisdom, the two most basic components required to take calm and effective action. The color green represents the harmony of all pieces working together as one, and the color gold represents the grander and magic of science and all that it can unlock in the universe.

The main insignia's shield is a symbol of the organization protecting the timeline and thus protecting the present. The sword symbolizes the willingness to fight any forces which may corrupt the past, being the classical weapon of a knight protecting their realm. On both the flag and insignia there is also the square made of 4 interlocking pieces and a compass star. The square is a dual reference, not only does it represent teamwork and harmony of all the pieces of the organization working toward one singular whole purpose but also each piece leads to the center, where the star is located. The star with its cardinal points represents the power and will to do what needs to be done as well as the illuminating of ones path, as a star sheds light on the universe. In this way the square and star form a symbol of a team, each peace leading toward the center where the path is lit by the blazing power of a unified and singular will to act. Finally the cardinals of the compass representing direction, movement, travel, and thus growth and traveling back in time to protect the present.

This is why each of the insignia for the different branches carries the interlocking square, it is a reminder that each part works together as a whole.
