Reuben is the head of a small team of programmers, which call themselves "The Brainsmiths", responsible for the creation of the majority of the AIs used in Schatten System. They operate from a small lab somewhere in Nimbus Station, dubbed "The Brainforge".
Personality
Reuben is an easy-minded individual and rather loose with his subordinates as long as he and his team get the job done. He dislikes interruptions, especially uninvited or unannounced ones, and prefers to sit in his lab all day, drink green tea (Sencha) by the barrel and code away.

Background
Reuben chose the technical career early on his life. After he went to a high school specialized in education on technology and engineering, he continued this tendency in his undergrad and Master's degree. During his study, he early on gained a reputation of being criminally smart and motivated. This reputation later helped him gaining a much sought-after spot at the Solas Tempus Academy, where he graduated after a few years. Shortly after graduation, he was assigned to the Starbase Tranquility, where he served as an Ensign in a team of programmers and engineers. The team created AIs.
Following the newly arising need of AIs in Schatten System, Reuben was reassigned to Nimbus Station where got his own team.
