The Solas Tempus Academy is where Solas Tempus personnel are trained for service. Prior to becoming an actual member of Solas Tempus, someone must be accepted into one of the academy programs.
Officer Training
The schools term lasts 195 days, two terms per year (as measured on Markab Prime) with a 28 day break in between each term. For an officer, courses take around 4-6 years depending on specialization. Current officers often take additional coursework taking approximately 2 years to complete for promotions or to enter into different areas of study.

Temporal Operatives
Temporal Operatives must have a specialization in Temporal Operations as well as a specialization either in one of the Engineering fields or one of the Science fields. Most common is a specialization in Science.
Obscura Agents
Agents of Vident Obscura take a different path, one cannot sign up to be in their training programs but rather one is approached. At that point basic training (or equivalent) is required and usually some other focus related to one of the aspects of the organization (history, archeology, physical sciences, medicine, etc.). Most anything can be helpful in the field, however, someone with sufficient aptitudes is approached and should they accept, they would apprentice within the organization while studying in their chosen field. At a minimum they must go through basic training and begin studying in their chosen field, though Obsucra prefers apprentices with more formal learning it isn't required. Each apprentice is assigned duties, course work, and ranks based on their skill level and aptitudes individually.
Enlisted Training
Enlisted crew take courses in their preferred field of study for approximately 2-3 years, though 4 year programs are possible for certain specialties. Before taking these courses a candidate must also take basic training.

These fields of study offer many of the same, practical, specializations offered to Officers but the coursework and type of study are often different, focusing more on practical application than on theory.
Apprenticeship
Enlisted candidates may be accepted for apprenticeship, where they are tested for aptitude and current knowledge. Coursework is then customized to suit their knowledge, current skills, and preferred area of expertise. Since this is a very customized program, it is centered around several exams to progress and must be authorized by a current command level officer.
Apprenticeships are most often used in the field for starships or space stations to train potential recruits.
Education
The Academy focuses mostly on education and training for being an officer or enlisted crew of Solas Tempus, some specializations are offered but also go with certificates, degrees, or doctorates from other institutions. Additional education, not offered by Solas Tempus may be required at times to specialize in certain areas.
