Ethan is a Commander for the company Evanescence Industries transporting people and cargo for them. He usually operates alone or with a very small team. HIs operations are based out of his ship, the Miach. He is also a Temporal Operative for Solas Tempus.
Personality
Ethan is a serious man but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a heart only that he has learned to keep his heart under wraps. He cares deeply for people but definitely sees a boundary between what he can do and what he can’t do. When most people are looking toward what they should or shouldn’t do about a particular situation Ethan is usually positive what is possible and not possible. Rarely in his adult life has he come across a situation where it wasn’t clear, after some thought, what he should do.
History
He originally had planned to run cargo for a living but after purchasing the Miach and doing so for a good few years (and getting himself in and out of a few nasty scrapes along the way) he was approached by Solas Tempus to covertly place a few listening devices in some key places for an investigation. He agreed and the relationship with them continued until finally he signed up, progressing in his early 20’s to the rank of Commander by 27.
Family
His parents (Robert & Evelyn) are both still alive and living on Earth, they are both partners in a small cargo transport operation but are also both nearly retired from working as a whole except for the occasional trip. Their other two children, a boy (Edger) and a girl (Susan) both joined Starfleet at a young age, not having much agreement with boring life running cargo between worlds. He speaks to them as often as he can but unfortunately due to his position isn’t nearly often enough. While his mother knows what he really does and thus it is likely he father does as well (though they never speak of it) his siblings do not and believe he followed in his parents footsteps. There is some strain in the family caused by this and caused by the fact that his father has a dim view of military organizations and doesn’t terribly approve of the secrets that governments keep. Evelyn is more pragmatic and thus tries to hold the family together as best she can.
