The Adara Sector of the Milky Way galaxy is named for the largest star system in the sector, being the Adara Star System. The sector is a sparsely populated region of deep space, there are no inhabited systems in the sector though there are some Class M planets. The sector is currently part of the Serenity Concord, the government began detailed exploration in 2383 and completed the process to claim the sector with interstellar authorities in 2384 where the Concord took full legal ownership of the region.
