The Hornet class fighter is a small short-range tactical fighter. Designed for defense support of medium size ships. It was designed and built by Excalibur Inc. for personal, corporate, and military defense duties. Solas Tempus also uses them extensively.
The fighter is not designed for sustained used, carries a standard atmospheric exchange life support system on board but otherwise minimal provisions in case of crash.
