Katja Volkova was assigned as the ships master systems AI shortly after the vessel completed its final shakedown cruise in September of 2385. She has stayed assigned to the ship ever since, Captain Tolin was particularly happy with her performance and originally had planned to request she be transferred to his next command prior to his decision to retire.
