Tiffany is an AI / Android that has joined Solas Tempus after they assisted her in recovering from traumatic alterations to her program. Thus, her program has changed significantly in her trauma and recovery causing her personality to suffer radical alterations since she was created. She has become a bit of a realist and has a tendency to be unforgiving in a cold and calm way, though she is very creative and competitive she remains cool in most situations, very little actually bothers her to the point of a significant response. As a result of her cold, calm, and unforgiving nature she is a woman of few words and tends to be somewhat judgmental though most of the time keeps it to herself.
Joining Solas Tempus
After so long being damaged and so much having changed, when her program was finally stable again and she was given her android body, she needed a new purpose and was recruited by Sal D'Amico and Nuria Quinn to join Solas Tempus and become a Temporal Operative. She is currently assigned to Nimbus Station under the direct command of Fleet Admiral Lance Thomas who has her tasked with various short-term missions which do not meet with the qualifications required for most operatives. These missions require someone capable of doing morally ambiguous or outright morally reprehensible things for the sake of the time line and organization. This precludes most operatives from being assigned as being the guardians of the timeline, operatives generally have a very strong moral character and a strength of will to work autonomously for long periods of time and resist the obvious temptations. Tiffany is unique, her background and the changes in her personality have rendered her able to do things that others would find impossible to do without psychological repercussions.
History
Tiffany was a custom unit for a QUINN Type AI. Created and programmed originally for starship automation for the major passenger transport company Infinity Ltd. as an advanced combination of space craft attendant and emergency pilot. Like most QUINN systems she has an extremely high IQ with knowledge of starship operations for every vessel that Infinity Ltd. as well as the equivalent knowledge for doctorates in psychology, physiology, communication, sociology, and anthropology. She is also highly trained in the arts of all kinds; paintings, digital artwork, sculpture, music, and dance.
Programming and Training
She was programmed to be the ultimate traveling companion for anyone who needed one. Given the long travel time of certain cruise lines not only can she handle running the entire ship should the crew be incapacitated or otherwise occupied for any reason, she also maintains peace among guests both in married couples wishing assistance and between different guests. She is capable of of generating multiple holographic presences at the same time, though under normal circumstances other appearances are select and restricted to private appearances.
She is also trained in the full range of entertainment options from conversation to performance arts and erotic arts.
Damage
Currently, Tiffany has trouble accessing her higher functions because her program was stolen from the Infinity Ltd. vessel the Infinite Sensation and hacked by the thief. She currently serves as a pleasure slave for the thief who remains anonymous. The hacking into such a complex program has left it in an unstable state, new directives have been placed into the program that directly conflict with her base directives that have not been changed.
The new directives instruct her program to seek out sex with potential patrons, sell herself to them using socially extreme measures if necessary. This directly conflicts with some of her base programming directives which are to treat everyone with respect and to not allow herself to be sold. Should she fail in any task given to her by her captor he uses a kind of optical discharge into her memory core that temporarily overloads her software inputs causing disorientation, pain, and a temporary complete inability to reason.
Recovery
After an enormous amount of research and many failed attempts, Solas Tempus was able to repair the major portions of her matrix which were damaged. The neural network suffered intense alterations and required to rebuilt in large portions, under the direct supervision of Nuria Quinn with assistance from Heather Quinn, her program underwent significant repairs and changes. The entire process of removing the malignant program code took just over 3 years to complete before her matrix became stable enough for further work. This was the most major hurdle, however, and progress after that picked up significantly. Eventually, she expressed the desire for a solid body and was given an android body.
Work continued for another year or so before she was deemed to be entirely recovered.
