He is a self-righteous neo-Christian with agnostic tendencies. Believes that God speaks to him directly and gets supplemental income from UFP because of official disabled status. He wishes to right the wrongs of the world and sees himself as a holy warrior, feeling that whatever action he thinks he needs to take is backed by the almighty God himself. Has a tendency to preach to people even when it is unwanted and also follows laws at his personal whim, if questioned he falls back on the idea that God himself has granted him the power to decide what is right and wrong.

He is an outlaw in Klingon and Romulan space due to religious mongering.
Family
Has no brothers or sisters, parents are still alive but he has little or no contact with them.
Medical Disposition
Orion is diagnosed with a mild form of schizophrenia that does not manifest itself with paranoia generally. He is medicated to control its symptoms and this leaves him largely able to function in normal life. He has been treated repeatedly for the disorder and also frequently goes off his meds. He has an ID transponder lodged at the back of his neck which carries his medical information.
Social workers from the nearby Vega Colony visit him roughly once or twice a month and check to see how he is doing. They have often reported seeing scrapes, bruises, and occasionally and sprained joint or two. Nothing life threatening, however.
