A previously unknown comet appeared on long range sensors at the very edge of the anomalies boundaries to the star system. As yet almost no information is known about the comet except for its existence, unusually dense core, and potential ability to pass through subspace anomalies unaffected. So far the comet has not been approved for close range study but rather long range scans to determine as much about it as possible.
Origin
The comet is not in any Federation or Solas Tempus databases. Its origin is unknown.
Course
The course of the comet is irregular and may be interacting with the subspace anomalies in the system.
