A bit of a grey hat pirate, He is otherwise your typical scoundrel, swashbuckler, and thief, quick in and out, if it benefits him he'll be on your side, likely to take advantage of exploits from time to time. He does hold to a code of honor as well, and sometimes can't help but help those in need. Due to his unique abilities he's often called the 'Faceless pirate' and can go almost anywhere, all he needs is the right appearance for the job.

Background

Born and raised as part of a merchant fleet, As such he grew up trading, bartering, transporting, buying and selling goods and supplies to survive. When he was a teenager, he and his family were captured by pirates and taken to a pirate haven where the pirates were planning on selling them as slaves. That was however before they discovered that his parents were shapeshifters, sometimes called Faceless ones, the two of them sought to save their son and escape. This plan however failed as a group of pirates took their son and escaped during their rampage. He was quickly forced to learn how to use his powers, and then use his powers as the captain bid. Eventually he grew into young adulthood and he found a way to escape. He took a ship for himself which he named the Shadow's Respite, a ship that due to his knowledge of merchant ships he could cause to blend in with merchant fleets, as needed. Ever since then he has practiced what he was forced to practice for his teenage life, piracy, thievery, and the like. At times, if he found his ship full of things that he could sell he'll barter and go back to his more merchant like roots, but this only happens if he finds items worth selling from the ships he plunders. At times he tries to find his parents, when not surviving however he can.
