Artifact Classification

Artifacts with unexplained properties are classified by any attribute which has been discovered. Each greek symbol denotes a particular quality of the artifact, allowing agents to quickly classify and understand the potential of any given artifact.

Symbol	Meaning	Notes
Delta	Can be used to travel in some way.	Must also be classified with Sigma and/or Tau.
Epsilon	Gives the ability to somehow change the shape or nature of matter.	Often seen with Sigma artifacts.
Eta	Possesses elemental properties, able to control or otherwise influence one of the mythic Five Elements.	Usually co-classified as Mu.
Iota	Possesses properties which manipulate emotional states.
Mu	Defies conventional explanation and determined to use Magical Energy
Nu	Defies conventional explanation and determined to use Psionic Energy
Xi	Identified as having a harmful effect on the user.	This includes negative impacts on the abilities or mental / physical state or the inability to remove or control the artifact. Often co-classified as Iota, Mu, and / or Upsilon.
Rho	Conveys or alters the properties for some form of psionic abilities.	Some artifacts enhance existing abilities. Those that grant the ability to use psionic energy and thus give psionic abilities, are co-classified as Omega.
Sigma	Has the ability to manipulate the shape of the fabric of space or the relationship between an objects (or its own) relationship with the space around it.
Tau	Has the ability to bend or otherwise alter the flow of time.	Often seen with Sigma artifacts and co-classified as Omega. Use extreme caution!
Upsilon	Unknown abilities or properties	Use extreme caution!
Phi	Object is capable radically alerting the fundamental state, shape, or type of matter.	Often co-classified as Omega when matter can be altered at a distance.
Omega	Incredibly dangerous artifacts of any other classification.	Do not handle or allow others to handle Omega artifacts without express approval in the presence of command personnel!
