The Transaetas is an artifact of unknown origin shaped like a pocket watch. The artifact allows a person with psionic or magical abilities and a natural ability with Chronomancy to control their abilities. It also provides a compass-like ability to help a Chronomancer navigate a path through time to bend time into a loop and thus travel through time and across realities.

History

Originally found in Victorian England the pocket watch appears in an estate sale in 1894 having once belonged to an Edna Davies. The exact age of the watch is unknown and there is no documentation as to where Ms. Davies may have obtained the artifact, though Ms. Davies had a significant collection of time pieces. From there it was purchased by a Scottish man by the name of Able Vass, though other than this record of purchase no records exist as to what happened to the artifact after Able Vass purchased it.

The artifact does not surface again until it was given to Justin Richards in the 24th century.
