The Tempest Class vessel is a small one-man fighter craft using primarily for short range space combat.
The craft has an elongated disk design, measuring 10m on its longest axis with a 3m cockpit and room for a pilot and copilot. Some models feature a small cargo area for supplies, extra fuel, mission specific equipment, rather than a copilot seat.

Design
A unique design allows a single umbilical to be used for refueling and rearming, torpedoes can actually be reloaded via the launcher itself while fuel connections refill the craft's deuterium and antimatter are similarly forward mounted. This allows the craft to be refueled and rearmed very quickly in space.
