The seaQuest DSV class submarine is designed the United Earth Oceans Organization during the unrest of the late 21st and early 22nd centuries. The designation of DSV stands for Deep Submergence Vehicle allowing the vessel to go to extreme depths (around 9 km in Earth standard pressure and gravity).
Offensive Systems
- Underwater Phaser Emitters (2 Fore and 2 Aft)
- Plasma Torpedo Launchers (8 Tubes)
Defensive Systems
- Polarized Hull Plating
- Projects a polarized field to disperse energy, due to the properties of water, the field must be maintained as tight to the hull as possible.
- Energy Resistant Hull
- The hull itself is energy resistant and thus protects the interior from lasers, electrical charges, and some heat.
- Bio-regenerative Hull
- Since the hull is made out of a biologically grown material it can regenerate itself, though it does have some weakness in the case of direct contact with extreme heat.
Auxiliary Craft
-
Seacrab
-
Sea Launch
-
Stinger
- Seacrab (2)
- Designed for single occupant for manipulation of cargo and scientific instruments on ocean floor.
- Sea Launch (8)
- Primarily used as underwater personnel transports.
- Stinger Subs (2)
- Primarily used as ultra fast reconnaissance vessels.
Remote Sensing / Probes
- 16 WSKHS (Whiskers)
- Wireless Sea Knowledge Retrieval Satellites
- Remotely operated self propelled sensor probes which provide information about the ocean around the submarine, they have very small displacement and little noise generated by movement.
