Believes strongly in right and wrong, highly protective of others. She hardly backs down from a fight. she enjoys fishing, mapmaking, and swimming. She loves helping people, but she hardly asks for help herself. Since becoming a sphinx she has become more intelligent, though sometimes falls to more beastlike habits, She has a slowly growing love for books and learning, riddles, and is slowly learning more and more about her new nature, and accepting the good aspects of her nature.

Background
Richard newfolk was born a young man living in the california LA area, he's always walked on the side of the law, and helping others. As such he eventually went into the police force. Shortly after his training, he was doing his patrol when suddenly he blacked out and woke in a mysterious laboratory, and witnessed a needle injecting something into his arm. Somehow He escaped soon after and finds himself in the street... as the serum starts to take effect. After the Serum takes effect Richard was found by an Irish witch who recently arrived in town, Aisling, who helped him through his transformation, fed and kept the new gynosphinx safe from harm. The two formed a pact, Richard, taking the new name of Renata, now serves as Aisling's familiar, companion and protector. Since then, they moved from LA to a house in Chicago, away from the majority of the population and with decent yard space. Due to some mishaps, Renata is unable to prey on humans, and without permission is not permitted to leave the property where they live, without Aisling or express permission from Aisling before going out. Part of this may be due to her having some magical abilities which she has difficulty controlling on her own, as well as her own instincts
