Zak is a very prideful woman at heart, this is due to the fact that she takes pride in being the Zeonic Nation first and successful Combat Ready Mobile Suit that has proven itself on the field which also led to the development of newer and advance suits like her, the other being a formidable opponent on the field as she was once pilot by an Ace pilot of the Zeon army and a veteran at that too.
Despite her pride, she is pragmatic at best, usually she doesn’t stick to the usual weapons thanks to Ace pilot again which led her being capable and formidable with any sorts of mobile suit weapon.
Another thing is that she prefers not to be in command of troops but rather be on the frontlines fighting rather than leading.
Plus she has shown to have rather sadistic tendencies and is brutal in combat, reason to this remains unknown which could be due to the countless battles she participated but one thing's for sure is that she loathes civilian casualty and killing them as such actions do not hold any sorts of tactical advantages or anything. This reflects in the one year war where both sides showed little to no regard of civilian life in the battles where it could’ve been easily avoided.
Clothing
She is usually seen wearing the standard issued Zeon Officer Uniform minus the helmet. Underneath the uniform is a sports bra and bike shorts.
Weapons
- 105mm Machine Gun
The 105mm machine gun is a standard weapon for Zaku type mobile suits. It is a shell firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however, its effectiveness against heavy armor is very limited. This model used a 100-round drum magazine.
- 120mm Machine Gun
The 120mm machine gun is another standard weapon for Zaku type mobile suits. It is a shell firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however its effectiveness against heavy armor is very limited. This model used a 100-round drum magazine.
- ZMP-50D 120mm Machine Gun
The 120mm machine gun is a standard weapon for Zaku type mobile suits. It is a shell firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however its effectiveness against heavy armor is very limited. It holds 100 rounds per drum with spare drums that can be stored on waist armor racks.
- ZCR-50D
A sub compact six round revolver that uses a 190mm round, slightly higher then the ZMP and it's lethal at close and point blank range being able to punch through Gundarium with ease.
- M-120AC Machine Gun-
A model of machine gun with a heat bayonet equipped on the barrel section. A limited number of these weapons were produced, and were carried by Zaku II Commander Type units for operational testing.
- MMP-78 Machine Gun
A new model machine gun with enhanced firepower to combat Federation Forces MS. Early type and late type models exist, with differences in the location and mounting of the grip on the latter. In addition to the regular machine gun bullets fed from the drum magazine, the MMP-78 is also capable of firing anti-aircraft rounds being fed from a smaller, box-type magazine. The MMP-78 is also integrated with a grenade launcher under its barrel for additional firepower. "MMP" is an abbreviation for "Mobile Suit Machine Pistol".
- Heat Nata - Similar to the Type3 or Type5 Heat Hawk, it is Zak’s secondary close combat weapon, a pair of them are stored in the sides of the backpack. As implied by their names, they rely on super-heated blade to cut through the armor of enemy units.
- H&L-SB21K/280mmA-N Zaku Bazooka
The 280mm Zaku Bazooka was another standard weapon that could be equipped to a Zaku type mobile suit. The bazooka fired explosive rounds that were quite effective against the armor of Earth Federation mobile suits and battleships.
- Initial Type Bazooka
This early design of the bazooka, featured a block ammo cartridge and a single exhaust port.
- ZUX-197 Jagdgewehr 192mm Shotgun
A weapon specifically designed for assault-type MS, it is similar to the model used by the MS-08TX Efreet. It has a 9-round capacity with known ammunition including slugshot, luna titanium 00 buckshot, and MS-use birdshot (BB shot). It can be loaded via pump-action, or automatically by an electric mechanism. The Kämpfer is capable of carrying two of these shotguns, one stored on the rear waist armor, while the other is carried in the hands.
- Heat Hawk Type3
An axe-like melee weapon, whose name is short for "tomahawk". Thermal energy is used to superheat the heat hawk's blade, allowing it to slice through the armor of enemy warships or mobile suits.
- G-3 Nerve Gas Grenade Launcher
During the early days of the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon planned to drop colonies on Earth as weapons of mass destruction. Instead of using colonies from Side 3, they intended to capture Earth Federation allied colonies. To prepare these colonies, several Zaku Is were equipped with a G-3 nerve gas grenade launcher. These weapons launched rockets filled with G-3 nerve gas, a chemical weapon that could quickly kill every living person in a colony.
- S-Mine
S-Mines are anti-personnel shrapnel explosives based on German mines by the same name, which were used in the second World War.
- Knuckle Shield
The knuckle shield is a modified Zaku II shoulder shield that mounts on the left arm. When mounted on the forearm the curve of the armor fits over the mobile suits hand. One of the modifications is the additions of three spikes placed on the plate that rests in front of the hand. These spikes make the knuckle shield an effective bashing weapon. Darmac Barlow's Zaku I in U.C. 0096 features a knuckle shield(minus the three spikes) with hard points to carry two 280mm Zaku Bazookas.
- Shoulder Shield
Originally a regular equipment for MS-06 Zaku II series, Darmac Barlow's Zaku I in U.C. 0096 features a shoulder shield on each shoulder with hard points to carry two sturm fausts and three of the Gelgoog's beam rifle.
- Heat Sword
A melee weapon originally developed for the Gouf line of mobile suits. Like the Zaku's heat tomahawk the heat sword is a blade that is heated to high temperatures in order to increase it's cutting capacity. The Heat Sword was designed after a broadsword so its blade is longer than the tomahawk allowing for a greater range of attack.
- MIP-B6 Cracker Grenade
Identical to those used by infantry, the cracker grenade is an explosive weapons designed to be thrown or launched by the MS and detonate after a set amount of time. The "cracker" breaks into several smaller munitions over a wide area.
- Sturm Faust
An explosive weapon with a rocket propelled warhead, it was designed before the beginning of the One Year War as an anti-ship weapon. Useful both in space and under gravity, it was mainly deployed for anti-ship attacks during the early days of the war. The Sturm Faust likely made a good anti-mobile suit weapon during the latter days of the war, as Zeon mobile suits could be equipped with both a Sturm Faust and a more typical ranged weapon for greater versatility. As a non-guided weapon, it is difficult to hit targets with high mobility.
- 60mm Vulcan Gun
A standard armament for many mobile suits are a pair of head mounted vulcan guns. These shell firing weapons have a high-rate of fire but have little power and can't damage the thick armor of a mobile suit, though it can damage lightly armored areas such as the sensors. The weapons are ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles, small land vehicles, and attack helicopters.
- MIP-X79-E0-type BSR (Beam Sniper Rifle)
Musai-class beam rifle with a built in Beam oscillation device and electronic targeting equipment. Yonem Kirks' personal Sniper Type unit carries a rifle modified for rapid fire capability. Because this custom beam rifle's high output quickly overheated its barrel, it was fitted with a quick-change barrel.
- MMP-80 90mm Machine Gun
The upgraded version of the MMP-78 120mm Machine Gun. It used 90mm bullets instead of 120mm type, allowing for a greater speed of firing and a higher rate of penetration. The machine gun is magazine-fed with 32 rounds per mag. The MMP-80 was also integrated with a grenade launcher under its barrel for more firepower. Grenade Launcher The MMP-80 is fitted with an underslung grenade launcher. The grenade wasn't very effective against large ships, but was an ideal mid-range anti-mobile suit weapon.
- Arm Machine Gun
The Zeon Remnants' F-type Zaku II units shown in "U.C. 0096: Last Sun" were equipped with a magazine-feed, 105mm-calibre machine gun on right forearms. These projectile firing weapons are highly effective against most mobile suit armor at close range.
- Gatling Shield
A weapon from the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom, it is a shield with a powerful, drum-and-belt fed, 75mm Gatling Gun attached to it. The Gatling Gun can detach from the shield itself when it runs out of ammunition.
- Heat Hawk Type5
An axe-shaped close combat weapon, it uses a super-heated blade to cut through the armor of enemy MS or vehicles. The thermal energy is generated by the power output of the Zaku II's thermonuclear reactor and relayed through the MS' hands.
- Folding Hawk
The Zeon Remnants' F-type Zaku II units shown in "U.C. 0096: Last Sun" could be equipped with optional Folding Hawk, a compact, collapsible polearm weapon with its blade can be superheated to high temperatures in order to increase its cutting capacity. The long reach of the weapon gives the Zakus a considerable advantage in close quarters combat.
- 3-tube Missile Pod
Mounted on the legs or Shoulder shields are two 3-tube missile pods. These missiles are quite effective against armored enemies. However, they were also slow and unsuited for combat against nimbler targets. 5-tube Missile Pod - A pair of five-tube rocket launchers are mounted on the sides of the backpack. They can be fitted with various kinds of rockets, and are used for bombardment or to distract the enemies.
- H&L-GB05R/360mm Giant Bazooka
A large bazooka originally designed for use by the Dom series of mobile suits. The 360mm bazooka is magazine fed and holds 10 rounds per magazine, and a single round is powerful enough to blow the torso off of an enemy mobile suit. Three of these are stored under the top propellant booster.
- Hand Grenade
Throwing weapon used an alternative to the Cracker Grenade. These waist mounted grenades can be thrown like regular grenades and set to detonate upon impact with the target or timed to explode after a preset time. They come in multiple variants, allowing them to perform different roles in battle.
- 880mmRB-T27 Raketen Bazooka
A new heavy bazooka which features powerful rocket-propelled rounds, and improved targeting sensor with protective cover for aiming. The bazooka is magazine-fed and can hold 5 rounds per magazine
- Ex-T2-2 Beam Bazooka
A weapon originally developed for the Rick Dom. The bazooka has its own internal reactor, rather than an E-cap, and is, essentially, a Musai deck gun scaled down for mobile suit use. Due to using a reactor rather than an E-cap, the bazooka is capable of a single sustained blast or several short bursts, requiring a lengthy recharge period of approximately 10 minutes before it can be used again.
- ASC-44ZS 300mm Recoilless Cannon - A high caliber Recoilless rifle that was developed and use during the early years of the One year war, most notably the Battle of Loum. Using a 300mm Armor-piercing Fragmentation round that punches through a ship's armor and explodes sending fragmentation and damaging the superstructure further. This round can be swapped with the HE version.

Special Abilities
- Mobile Suit Armor: Due to her status as a spirit of a warmachine, Zak can summon her armor on her person which greatly resembles her original Mobile Suit form in the past. The armor pieces shaped and fitting to her form snuggly and beneath the Super-hard Steel Alloy Armor is a black undersuit.
Despite her armor overall appearance, her helmet is slightly different as it is more reminiscent to a Stahlhelm helmet and the forward mouth of the Zaku head is a detachable gas mask mouthpiece of sorts. Once attached to the main helmet, metal parts locks it in place and a black visor comes down with a mono-eye camera and a visor guard in the middle. On the Stahlhelm in the middle is a singular thin sharp horn like many of the Zaku commanders have.
The armor is perfectly EVA capable allowing Zak to operate in long operations in space almost indefinitely.
Though due to her long career in the war, her former pilot has made many modifications to her original metal body where she can simply change individual parts of her armor usually her shoulder pads to either spiked shoulder pads or another Shoulder Shield and the thruster limiters removed giving her speed times the speed than the original model.
Most notable change is the fact she can switch her helmet to the Sniper variant of the Zaku I line when needed in specific missions which requires the helmet enhanced mono-eye and mounted 60mm Vulcans
Also both her armored forearms have a added built in Machine Gun for dealing with enemies at close range.
Currently for her current armor is much like the main standard Zaku I with armed machine gun forearms while armed with the ZMP-D, two Revolvers, a Heat Hawk, a Zaku Bazooka, a knuckle shield, her two Heat Natas stored in her backpack, a pair of 3-tube missile launcher strapped to her lower legs and a pair of 5-tube missile launcher attached to her backpack
Background
Built in 5th August 78 UC, she was just another regular grunt suit like all her other copies simply doing menial tasks and patrols. That is until the beginning of the one year war.
Her first and only pilot turns out to be an Ace which led to her survival over the later days of the war where the Federation had its own somewhat capable mobile suits to match her in combat. Through every engagement, every operation, every battle she was involved in, her pilot had always constantly changing his fighting style and mission loadout to suit the needs of the mission which led to her pragmatism on the field.
There were however such missions she thoroughly dislike mainly attacking colonies with millions of innocent civilians inside them. It sickened her pilot as attacking them hold no strategic and tactical value in killing them. When it comes to fighting in cities, her pilot would always show caution so that remaining civilians won't get caught in the fray of a Mobile Suit gun fight.
Her last battle of the One Year War was Operation Star One or known as the Battle of Baoa Qu. It was by far one of the most challenging and difficult fight battle of her service in the war but in the end her faction loss with Zeon surrendering due to the lost military leadership.
After the war, she still continued her service until the unexpected death of pilot due to health issues. With no one capable to pilot her, she was then transferred to storage for spare parts given that her line is essentially outdated despite her deceased pilot modifications made to her metal body.
So she was stored in a underground bunker for a year along with other parts and a huge assortment of Mobile suits weapons used in the war forgotten and abandoned until a large splice hole spontaneously appears and sucks up everything in the vicinity and her along with it.
Now she is found spliced in Schatten-3; Soteria’s Forests.
