Jamos is a man known for both his calm, and his determination. A renowned teacher within the Jedi order of Shii-Cho (Form 1), he often had his patience tested by the younglings. He however, found satisfaction in training them. He has a strong protective streak and easily forms bonds and emotional connections with those he encounters or is sent to help. He is driven by a strong sense of duty, the protection of the weak, and the destroying of evil however he can. While not an unintelligent man, his views can be simplistic or reductionist at times. He considers himself to be adaptable and will often jump to approach the situation from an alternative angle if complications arise in combat or in plans.

Background

Taken from his home planet of Onderon at an age too early for him to remember it, Jamos grew up within the Jedi Temple and eventually became the Padawan for a master named Maave Galo. Maave did not pay particular attention to Jamos, mainly using him as a dueling partner. As such he initially only knew Shii-Cho (Form 1) and grew to understand his master's use of Juyo (Form 7), but eventually branched out into Soresu (Form 3) as well. Her training resulted in him becoming significantly proficient with Form 1, to the point that he was asked to function as one of the main teachers for younglings within the temple. Though he and his master parted in less than ideal circumstances, he was content until the Clone Wars broke out. During a mission in the Outer Rim his hyperdrive suffered some damage during a firefight. Needing to escape, he activated it anyway and ended up in an entirely new galaxy…
