- Two specialized organs in his body synthesize chemicals that when combined cause an exothermic reaction. He is able to spray the combined chemicals through ducts in his mouth.

- A special sac in his body allows him to float between sea level to 2,000 feet above sea level. When floating he has to ‘swim’ through the air.

Background
Iwata was born in Japan before his parents moved to Germany. He grew up in germany where he was teased for being a foreigner. Combined with his stern parents it meant he grew up a dry and stoic person that rarely if ever let out his emotions. At the behest of his parents he went to university to study molecular biology and developmental biology. He ended up earning a Phd in the former and a Masters in the latter. After graduating he went to work for a Genetics company for a decade. Iwata was put in charge of a project using the crispr for aesthetic alterations to humans. Due to an unfortunate series of events he ended up the recipient of untested crispr gene therapy that caused his transformation into his current form. The company he worked for faked his death and now forces him to study the process that transformed him in order to monetize it.
