Cillian is a quiet and reserved man who prefers to mostly keep to himself. Most of life's challenges he keeps inside and tells very few people of the problems he is having, he trusts very slowly and forgives even slower. Not to say that he is ever hateful toward anyone, for the most part he is a peaceful and quiet man who keeps his own council. Should someone lose his trust or his faith then they simply fade from his life, he has no need to confront them in most cases.
Abilities
The main ability that Cillian has is being immortal, while he can be killed through conventional means like any person, around the age of 25, his body simply stopped aging. As the years have gone on, he has noticed that somehow the deep cold of the ocean has seemed into his bones, and he is never warm, even in the hottest desert he is cold -- even cool to the touch. This has him able to endure some extreme temperatures, not only does he never seem to sweat in intense heat or shiver from the intense cold but they also have little effect on him.
Skills
He has had a great many jobs over his lifetime, though most have taken him to the sea. Over the many years he has become an expert sailor from small craft to larger modern craft. He's run fishing boats, small cruise vessels, and even sportcraft all over the world. He's a skilled fighter, both old-school fist fighting and from his years fighting in wars.
Clothes and Equipment
Typically Cillian wears his old WWII great coat and a fedora from the same time period, he's almost always wearing both, never quite feeling warm enough even with them on.

History
Cillian has a long history, sometimes he cannot even remember it all himself. When he was young, he was boastful and brash, caring little for consequences of his actions. That all changed one day when he was at sea and nearly died at the hands of a group of mermaids. He still does not know why one let him go, but they did and he escaped as fast as he could possibly go. To this day he wonders who that beautiful creature was and why she let him go. Did that cause him to become immortal? He had no idea. He clearly remembers the mermaids luring his friends with him into the water, drawn to their eerie music, jumping into the cold ocean. Under the water, he remembers the face that saved him, but little else other than staring into the most beautiful face he's ever seen in his life. The next think he knew, he was staring at the sky on a beach, the lingering feeling of a kiss on his cheek and shivering in the sun, cold.
As the years went on, he became a loner. His friends were all dead, going home to his family it quickly became a problem that he never aged. Within 20 years the town began to talk about him being a demon, it didn't help that the experience had changed him in many ways. He was always cold, even to the touch, but he couldn't ever quite fit back into the normal routine of his life. Cillian remained distant from his former friends and families, often wracked by nightmares. Some of these nightmares end in dreams where he takes the mermaid that saved him, such things helped to make him an outcast. Eventually, he was run out of town. Spending decades wandering Ireland, Scotland, and England he later moved to Europe and travelled even to the bitter cold of Russia and back. He fought in both world wars and many other times in his life, finding that proving himself in battle would often override his strangeness. In civilian life he is alone, utterly, eventually going overseas to America shortly after the 2nd world war.
