Background
Itsuki was born and raised in the 20th ward in tokyo, little is know about his past besides the fact that his parents were killed when he was young leaving him to basically raise himself. During Itsukis highschool days is when he awoke his ghoul powers after a fight against a local bully, when his powers did awaken he killed about 20 other students in a bloody rage during his rage the CCG came in a subdued Itsuki and took him to the Cochlea Ghoul detention center in the 23rd ward. They kept Itsuki locked up for a year before they finally talked to him and convinced to join them. Itsuki now works as one of the top Ghoul investigators at CCG.
